An Egyptian Mummy Mask (Dynasty XVIII-XXII; c. 1550 BC – 715 BC) Carved and painted wood.
Inscription on the back of the mounting panel states that the piece was found in Thebes by the French in 1938, and that it dates to the XVIIIth Dynasty. We strongly feel that it is a bit later, and probably more in line with the XXI-XXII Dynasty.
